The usual:  41, married, two teenage girls.  Work in the social services industry, but I am a financial professional.  Gives me the chance to experience paradox every day!

What you should know:
It seems that in every aspect in my life, I KNOW what I should do, and yet, more often than I would like, I do not do it.  If you can bear through my examples, here goes:

Diet:  I know I should eat raw fruits and vegetables, limit meat, fat and sugar.  I FEEL better when I do so.  But often, it's easier to eat junk.

Golf:  I know that I should connect with the flow of the swing, and enjoy the beauty of nature.  Mostly I just hack at it.

Relationships:  I know I should choose being kind over being right, and that I should see the reflection of me in all, that we are all part of the same source.  Sometimes, before I even realize it, I am arguing, defending, or justifying.

There are more examples, but you get the point.

Why am I here:  Mostly, I am looking for fellow travelers, folks who know there is a path but have trouble with the journey.  Of course, I would welcome anyone who has already been down my road.  I also would like to give whatever benefit my experiences have had to others.
